Scholarship Name 1: NIT Meghalaya Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021
Description: National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya invites applications for NIT Meghalaya Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021 from master’s degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, “Development of a Novel Solar-driven Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) for Space Heating and Liquid Desiccant Dehumidification with Direct/Indirect Contact Heat/Mass Exchangers for Meghalaya Region”.
Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates below 28 years of age who hold an M.Tech/M.E. (or B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Fluid/Thermal Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks, or have obtained an equivalent in Master’s degree (or 75% marks or an equivalent in Bachelor’s degree). Added to this, they should be GATE qualified.
Prizes & Rewards: Up to INR 35,000 per month

Description: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar invites applications for IIT Ropar Department of Chemistry Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from master’s degree holders. The fellowship requires the candidate to work on the project titled, “Development of Porous Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for Catalytic Conversion of Carbon Dioxide to Fine Chemicals”.
Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates who hold a Master’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry/Materials Science and have also obtained first-class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) along with qualified UGC/CSIR-NET or GATE.

Description: Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) is inviting applications for Life Time Contribution Award in Engineering 2021 from eminent engineers (INAE fellows). The award aims to recognize lifetime contributions in Engineering made by eminent people in any Branch of Engineering within the purview of the Academy.
Eligibility: The fellowship is open for Indian candidates who are INAE fellows but not a Member of the INAE Council during the year of the award. Alongside, the candidate must have made a distinguished contribution in the field of Engineering/Engineering Research/ Engineering Education/Technology Development/Engineering Services or Management, which had brought prestige to the nation and had been regarded as landmarks of technological excellence in the country.

]]> An Edtalk on the topic ‘Entrepreneurship, Start Ups & Building Careers in the Age of Disruption’ was organized in the DAV University, Jalandhar, Punjab. DAV University supported the event as Associate Partner.

Vinod K Pandita, an international consultant & a business coach, delivered the talk. The event was a mingle of students with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and startup accelerator to learn, network, and share the experience.

He dwelled on how the students should focus on developing certain skills and remain agile and flexible in the world full of innovative disruptions. More than 200 students from various streams participated in the session.

A momento by Brainfeed Higher Education Plus was presented to Shri Rakesh Kumar Mahajan, Vice Chancellor of DAV University.

The talk was followed by a ceremony to honour 10 Young Achievers who had excelled in the field of academics, sports, entrepreneurship & social service. They were presented with mementos & complimentary copies of the Brainfeed Higher Education Plus magazine.

Our event supported by Jalandhar Management Association (JMA), New Delhi who represented the occasion as Knowledge Partner. The event execution was represented by Ahsanul Haq, President & Vishal Sharma, Secretary General of JMA.
