What is the importance of faculty training programs about online learning?
Online learning, now a ‘new normal’ would soon become a way of life in the near future. Most of the educational institutions have embraced this change more quickly than imagined and hence the educational instructors need to be well adept with teaching online which is novel for most of the teachers which is why faculty training programs become indispensable for the future of our kids.
Why counselling is important for parents to give them a better picture of online learning for their children’s?
Most of the parents come from a very traditional and conventional education system where classroom teaching was of utmost importance to them and the only way of learning available to most of them. Coming from this mindset, it is but natural for parents to think that online learning won’t be as good as actual classroom learning would be and hence in order to expose them to varied benefits of online learning and eradicate this ‘mental block’ of sorts, counselling would be helpful.
How can we use technology to improve enrollment?
In a world where everything has shifted online and this shift seems rather permanent, it is imperative for educational institutions to be adept with the latest technology as technology aids in providing a richer experience for students. Technological advancements would definitely increase enrollments as with better technology, institutions would be able to provide a more classroom like feel which would indirectly mean more enrollments.
How will NEP 2020 impact the work-readiness gap in India?
As a part of holistic development NEP 2020 stated that all higher education institutions will be provided with internship opportunities ranging from research to business so that the students will get a hands on experience on what to expect from the work life. This will make the students more prepared for the jobs as now doing an internship to gain practical field experience won’t be an option but would be a compulsion and as a consequence more and more students would be work ready thereby mitigating the work readiness crisis.
Virtual training has revolutionized many workplaces during the Covid19 situation, how?
As work from home has become the new normal, most workspaces train their employees virtually. Digital and virtual training was already on the rise before COVID19 struck but because of the pandemic we have seen a significant increase in digital and virtual learning. It has definitely created a revolution of sorts in terms of the way training programs have transgressed from in person to completely online.
Virtual training and learning is a ‘new normal’ among corporate, your views?
Workspace learning and training was one of the hardest-hit business activities due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, businesses could not keep this on hold for a longer period and hence to continue to enable training and learning for employees businesses expanded virtual live training and made it a new normal of sorts.
What are the top 5 skills that can help students to get opportunities in post Covid19 world?
Being tech savvy, having good leadership skills, being a good communicator are skills that have become more pivotal than ever thanks to the pandemic. Additionally, being adaptable and flexible along with possessing digital skills would be important. All the aforementioned skills would be attributes that most of the academic and occupational institutions would look at post Covid19.
